Hand-painted glass facade

Art Curation

On the outskirts of Basel stands a historic townhouse whose interior we have reimagined – deeply interwoven with its history.

The design concept follows a clear principle: authenticity over effect, timelessness over trend.

Warm woods, custom-made furniture, and finely crafted built-ins create spaces of quiet elegance and artisanal depth. A key feature is the bespoke glass façade – made of mouth-blown, hand-painted glass. It captures the light, softens it, lets it flow – a play of transparency and artistry. The natural stone staircase is accompanied by hand-forged railings; a bronze cabinet serves as a bold accent within a setting framed by custom-made furniture. Selected textiles by a textile artist introduce carefully placed, tactile contrasts. The result is a home of character – grounded, clear, and without pretense.

A place that speaks with presence – quietly, yet with conviction.
